    Consistency

AI character consistency for images and video

Build a reusable character reference, generate new scenes, and carry the approved look into video shots.

Imgo combines character assets, reference images, and prompt constraints so creators can compare the same character across still images and video shots. Review each result for face, wardrobe, and distinctive details before reuse.

    Why this is hard

A face, outfit, or signature mark can drift between generated frames. Rewriting a loose description for every image and shot makes it harder to notice where identity changed.

    How Imgo solves it

    Reusable character asset

Save an approved reference and visual description in the asset library so the same source can be used across image and video tasks.

    Stills before motion

Generate a small set of character stills with the same reference, approve the strongest frame, and use it as an image-to-video input or storyboard anchor.

    Review across scenes

Compare face proportions, hair, marks, and clothing across accepted frames. Re-run a frame when a model changes something the story requires.

    The 3-step flow

    Step 1

    Define and save a character

Use an owned reference image and record the face, hair, marks, and signature clothing as a reusable asset.

    1

    Step 2

    Generate a consistent still set

Reuse the reference and a stable prompt in the Image Generator. Change one scene variable at a time and keep only frames that match the character sheet.

    2

    Step 3

Carry the approved frame into video

Use the approved still as the video reference or bind the character asset in Canvas. Compare outputs across shots before final approval.

    FAQ

Can I use one character in images and videos?

Yes. Save the reference as an asset, use it for still generation, then use an approved frame or the asset in the video workflow. Check each model's output for drift.

Does a reference guarantee the same face?

No. References improve control, but model outputs can still drift. Review facial geometry, hairline, marks, and outfit in every accepted frame.

What if the character changes mid-project?

Update the saved reference and review earlier accepted frames against the new character sheet. Re-run shots that no longer match.

    Does this replace LoRA fine-tuning?

References are a useful first step. A trained LoRA may help a recurring stylized character when references alone do not hold; compare both approaches on your own scenes.
