AI video generator with native audio

Dialogue, sound effects, ambience and music generated with the picture — not layered on afterwards.

On Imgo's live Seedance 2 models, native audio is on by default: one prompt describes what is seen and what is heard, and the clip comes back with its soundtrack already in sync. Write the lines a character says, the sounds the action makes and the music under it, or attach up to 3 reference audio tracks to steer a voice or rhythm. The table below shows which models can generate sound on Imgo today and which are still pending.

Who this is for

  • Social teams whose clips play with sound on
  • Creators drafting dialogue scenes
  • Marketers testing ad variants with voice and music

Which models generate audio on Imgo

Status comes from Imgo's live model catalog and the capabilities from the model registry that every request is validated against. Pending models are listed so you can see what is coming; they cannot be generated yet.

Why this is hard

Most AI video comes back silent, and then the second job starts: find music that fits the cut, record or synthesize a voice, place a sound effect on every hit and line it all up frame by frame. For a draft or a social batch that is more time spent on sound than on the picture — and sound added afterwards rarely lands exactly on the action.

How Imgo solves it

Sound in the same pass

With native audio on, the model generates the soundtrack together with the video, so footsteps, a door slam or a line of dialogue land on the frame they belong to. It is the default on every live Seedance 2 model.

Prompt the sound, not just the shot

Describe what is heard alongside what is seen: the words a character says in quotes, the effects the action makes, the ambience of the room and the style of music. Specific sound direction gives more predictable results than leaving it to the model.

Steer it with reference audio, or switch it off

Seedance 2.0, 2 Fast and 2 Mini each accept up to 3 reference audio tracks to guide a voice, rhythm or mood. When a clip will carry your own voiceover or licensed music, turn native audio off and render the picture alone.

The 3-step flow

Step 1

Pick a live model with audio

In the video generator, choose Seedance 2.0 for final quality, Seedance 2 Fast for cheaper drafts or Seedance 2 Mini for high-volume batches. Native audio is already on.

1

Step 2

Write picture and sound together

Describe the shot, then the sound: dialogue in quotes, effects tied to actions, ambience and music style. Add reference audio when a voice or rhythm has to match.

2

Step 3

Check the track, then iterate

Listen with the picture: lip sync, the spoken words, effect timing and the mix. Iterate in Fast, then render the keeper in Seedance 2.0.

FAQ

Which AI video models generate audio on Imgo?

As of October 2026, the live Seedance 2 models: Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2 Fast and Seedance 2 Mini, all with native audio on by default. Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 and MiniMax H3 generate audio too but are not yet generatable on Imgo. The table on this page follows the live catalog.

Can it generate dialogue, sound effects and music?

The track is generated from your prompt, so describe all three: dialogue in quotes, effects tied to actions and the style of music. Imgo's model registry records native audio as a single on/off capability, so no single element is guaranteed — listen to each take, and regenerate or add your own track where a line or cue must be exact.

Does native audio cost extra?

On the Seedance 2 models the credit quote is per second of video, and Imgo applies no separate charge for audio. Seedance 2 Fast is billed at about 55% of Seedance 2.0's per-second rate at 720p and Seedance 2 Mini at about 50%; both are estimated rates. The generator shows the exact quote before each run.

Can I use my own voice or music instead?

Yes. Switch native audio off to render the picture alone and add your own track afterwards, or attach up to 3 reference audio tracks so the generated sound follows a voice or rhythm you provide.
