Nano Banana 2 Text-in-Image Prompts
Two prompts for images where the words are part of the picture — exact text on a sign or label in a real scene, and a headline set as the main visual — with the quoting and proofing rules that keep spelling intact.
How to use these prompts
The problem
Nano Banana 2 renders short text well, but any image model can swap a letter, repeat a word, or invent filler microtext in the background. A typo inside an image cannot be fixed by a spell-checker; it has to be caught by eye or regenerated.
The method
Quote the exact text in the prompt, say where it sits and how large it is, and forbid every other word. Keep each block short: a few words per line, two or three blocks at most. When the copy is a price, a legal line, or longer than a sentence, generate clean space instead and set the type in a design tool, as the poster prompts do.
Prompts to copy and adapt
Exact text on a sign or label in a scene
Create a photorealistic scene of [setting] featuring a [surface] that displays exactly the text '[exact text]' in [font style] lettering. This is the only writing in the image, spelled exactly as quoted, with perspective, lighting, and wear that match the surface. Frame the shot so the text is fully visible and sharp, spanning about [text size] of the frame width. No other words, letters, numbers, logos, or watermarks anywhere in the image.
- Model and input
- Nano Banana 2. No reference needed. For a brand typeface, attach an owned sample of the lettering as a style reference.
- Suggested aspect ratio
- 4:5 for feed; 16:9 for a site banner
- Replace these variables
- [setting], [surface], [exact text], [font style], [text size]
- Best for
- Instagram feed · Website and landing pages · Slides and decks
- Check the result
- Read the text letter by letter against the quoted string, then scan the whole frame for stray characters on background signs, screens, and packaging.
Headline as the main visual
Design a bold typographic graphic for [purpose] where the headline '[headline]' is the main visual. Set it large in [font style], in [text color] on a [background] background with strong contrast, across [number of lines] lines with even letter spacing. Add one supporting [graphic element] that never overlaps the letters. Render the headline exactly as written. No subheadings, taglines, small print, or any other words.
- Model and input
- Nano Banana 2. Optional: attach an owned brand palette as a style reference; keep logos out of the text block and add them later.
- Suggested aspect ratio
- 1:1 for feed; 9:16 for stories
- Replace these variables
- [purpose], [headline], [font style], [text color], [background], [number of lines], [graphic element]
- Best for
- Instagram feed · Instagram Stories and Reels · Pinterest
- Check the result
- Check spelling, line breaks, and spacing at full size, then view it at phone-thumbnail size to confirm the headline still reads at a glance.
